Privacy
A short, plain summary of what SpotJob holds about you. This is a template for a product at MVP stage and is not legal advice.
What we collect
- Your phone number, used to sign you in and to verify that you are a real person.
- Your name and city, shown to the other side of a job you are involved in.
- The jobs you post or apply for, so both parties have a record of what was agreed.
- An approximate location, only if you choose to share it, to rank jobs by distance.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We do not show your phone number to other users.
- We do not track you across other websites.
Who can see what
Employers see your name, rating, completed-job count, and any skills you have listed — only after you apply to one of their jobs. Workers see the name on the job post, its rating, and how many jobs that account has posted.
Keeping and deleting
Account records are kept while your account is open. Deleted jobs and applications are soft-deleted first so an accidental removal can be reversed, then purged.
